The “Freedom Front” emphasized that its cause is “the 10,452 km² — our land, whole and undiminished, the symbol of our unity and dignity.”
She said in a statement: “This number is not merely a geographic area, but rather a pledge that Lebanon is an indivisible and inseparable homeland—a nation that rejects resettlement, guardianship, and any infringement on its sovereignty. This stance reflects the essence of the national vision embodied by the martyred President Bashir Gemayel; for Lebanon’s strength lies in building a true state—a state of law that serves all its citizens, keeps arms solely in the hands of its army, and rejects any form of intervention or occupation.”
Freedom FrontShe added: “From this standpoint, we affirm our solidarity with every honorable citizen whose loyalty belongs solely to Lebanon, and we reject any external infringement regardless of its source. Lebanon is not a hotel; Lebanon is a homeland. The current war must not turn into an electoral campaign or a show of support, for nothing touches our land but the sun.”
He concluded: “Building a strong state requires the courage to return to its embrace and to hand over all weapons to the Lebanese Army, so that it may be the sole protector and unifier of all Lebanese. Only then can we together establish a true state of citizenship, where everyone is equal in rights and duties under a modern, advanced system that reflects the nature of the Lebanese fabric.”
