A statement issued by the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced that the Israeli enemy’s raid on the town of Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh District resulted, according to preliminary figures, in 21 people being injured, including two women.
The Israeli enemy also targeted three vehicles belonging to the Health Authority as they advanced toward the site of the airstrike to rescue the wounded and transport them to hospitals.
The paramedics survived miraculously.
The Ministry of Public Health reaffirms its condemnation of the Israeli occupation army’s ongoing and persistent violations of international humanitarian law, which stipulates the protection of healthcare facilities, and calls on the international community to denounce these practices and work seriously to put an end to them.
